    How We Deal With Tantrums

The best thing I do with lil Hank when he has a tantrum is use laughter. As a mom, you can’t take things so seriously especially when your kid is two! I don’t like to refer to them as the terrible twos. Instead, I say they are the terrific twos! Usually when kids throw tantrums they just want your attention. Once I pick him up, he usually stops his screaming.

In my latest blog on Parenting.com, I'm talking about the terrible twos and how Hank and I have been finding that "sweet spot" with lil Hank. Most of the time I’m lucky and lil Hank doesn’t get out of control. He is a lot like Hank and is such a little gentleman. He knows how to treat others and has such a kind heart. I really am such a lucky mom!

What have you found works for dealing with tantrums?

    Love, Kendra

My Twin boys are just a bit younger than 'Lil Hank (and combined they look just like him!) only my younger twin seems to throw them... I just tell him to go ahead and get mad. then walk away! he usually stop because 1> hes not getting what he wants and 2. hes not getting the attention he thought hed get.

I have an adorable little boy who will be 17 months in 2 weeks...and when he throws a little tantrum, which honestly doesn't happen much (yet anyway...LoL !!), I usually just sort of walk away, and he stops...or another thing that tends to work most times is to distract them with something else, and he forgets what he was mad about to begin with !

@ Pengi.... You seriously still have your 35 yr old living with you ??? Omg !! Unless theres a damn good reason, such as you have medical problems & need his help, etc, then honey, it is time to take that pacifier away & make him into a man !!!!!
